Caption: More than 250 pediatrics patients and their families were invited to the Pyle Center Rooftop Terrace and lakeside Alumni Lounge at the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus for a unique, front-row view of the Rhythm and Booms fireworks show, held across Lake Mendota at Warner Park at night on June 30, 2012. The private event was a partnership between the Pyle Center, which is part of the UW-Extension Conference Centers, and the American Family Children's Hospital, and included food donated by area businesses and an appearance by UW-Madison mascot Bucky Badger.
